The creation of Enyo Living - in the first place - was inspired by wanting to positively impact lives by providing opportunities for Ghanaian talents to expand their skills, excell in their craft, develop in their career and make a decent living

Co-founder

Nelson Ajala

Nelson, with studies in Political Science, French, and International Relations, has led a career starting from mobilizing investments in renewable energy across African countries to providing technical assistance and improved business environments for local actors.

His experience includes liaising with EU delegations and development finance institutions. He has been particularly concerned with driving investment to young African businesses and bolstering ecosystems for SMEs, with a special focus on youth and women.

With strategic insight and dedication to make a difference in his home country Ghana, he has founded Enyo Living with his wife, Meike.

Co-Founder & Chief creative officer (CCO)

Meike Coldewe-Ajala

Meike, whose background includes ethnology and African studies, initially focused on adult and vocational education. Her work aimed to align qualifications with labor market needs.

Engaging in multilateral European projects fueled her interest in international cooperation, prompting her to pursue a Master in International Public Management.

Subsequently, she spent a large part of her career at GIZ (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit) in Brussels, monitoring EU-Africa relations at a high political level, expanding her managerial skills, and deepening her expertise in sustainable development.

Inspired by the radiant crafts(wo)manship of Ghana, a passion for interior design, and a drive for meaningful societal impact, she now co-leads Enyo Living with her husband, Nelson.

Production Manager (Textiles)

Selina Mensah

Selina has over 10 years of experience in the design and crafting of textile items. She has played an essential role in the creative development of Enyo Living products since the very early days of the business and is now overlooking the production of everything textile.

Administrative Assistant

Memuna Kassim

Memuna has a background in Secretaryship and Management. She holds a degree in Management and Entrepreneurship from Sunyani Technical University. With seven years of experience, she supports in data management, client interaction, and financial oversight.

Crafting & Media Assistant

Emmanuel Adde

Emmanuel not only supports the craftwork that goes into our locally-sourced products, but also adds an artistic touch to our digital presence, from capturing product images, to enhancing them through editing and supporting our web design and social media platforms.
